This is scary, friend.

People who are legally barred from buying a firearm, like violent criminals or children, are increasingly turning to the internet – where they can purchase all the parts to assemble guns that evade all gun laws. These "ghost guns" don't have a serial number, so they're totally untraceable.

Ghost guns have already been used in several devastating, preventable shootings. In 2019, a 16-year-old who was too young to buy a gun in his state of California assembled a ghost gun at home – using it to kill two other students and himself.

Even worse, sales of these ghost guns have been on the rise during the pandemic, which means untraceable weapons could be in the hands of violent criminals right now.

But there's hope: The ATF just proposed a rule that would help end the sale of ghost guns. But gun lobbyists are pooling their resources to block any regulation of these dangerous weapons – so we need your help to call on the ATF to enact their rule against ghost guns and prevent the next tragedy.
