Amazon has revamped its process for customers to file complaints about problems with products purchased from third-party sellers, and it will now pay up to $1,000 for damage or injuries caused by those products. Starting Sept. 1, consumers with complaints will be able to file them with Amazon instead of having to contact the seller, and the e-commerce company will evaluate the complaints and take responsibility if the seller doesn't.
