[ [link removed] ]Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for Congress

On Monday, over 200 of the UN's top climate scientists from around the
world released their explosive report on the state of the climate. The UN
chief called the report “code red for humanity.”

On Tuesday, the Senate passed a “bipartisan” infrastructure package that
whittled down billions in proposed climate funding — including a clean
electricity standard and billions in tax incentives for wind and solar.^1

It’s unacceptable — with a majority in the
House and Senate and control of the White House, Democrats must take bold
action on climate now. This is our opportunity to respond immediately to
save our planet — we simply cannot afford inaction any longer.

That’s why Alexandria and her colleagues have drawn a line in the sand.
They’ve vowed to withhold their votes on the bipartisan infrastructure
bill unless a budget bill that addresses the scope of the climate crisis
passes at the same time.

This is a bold move, but it is what’s required to pass a budget bill that
actually meets the crisis we’re in. It’s exactly what Alexandria was
elected to do and another example of why we need her in Congress.

[ [link removed] ]Will you show your support in this urgent climate moment by chipping in
$3 to ensure that Alexandria can continue fighting for key
climate measures in the budget bill and beyond? A donation of any amount
will have a direct and immediate impact.

Alexandria has been very clear: People across this country elected
Democratic majorities in both branches of government and a Democrat to the
White House to tackle major issues like the climate crisis.

It’s time for Congress to deliver on the priorities that voters elected
them to fight for – not the lowest common denominator. That’s what
Alexandria is laser-focused on.

[ [link removed] ]A wave of donations right now would power our fight ahead to get these
critical climate protections passed. If you’re able to, please chip in
$3 or anything you can now.

Thank you for standing with us in this key moment.
