This morning, the Senate approved a historic budget resolution that increases funding for health care, child and elder care, education, climate change, and includes a commitment of $100+ billion for a pathway to citizenship for millions of immigrants. But our work is not done, and we need you to take action today. We are taking our fight to the House of Representatives, to finalize the budget and get us one step closer to our goals of relief and protections for all.

We need to send a strong and united message to the House to protect this expanded safety net and sustainability package. These important policies must benefit EVERYONE; 11 million immigrants in our communities have been waiting for this relief for decades. 

Immigrants are essential. We cannot wait any longer when our communities’ livelihoods and their families’ ability to thrive are at stake. The recent ruling by a Texas court that put the future of DACA in jeopardy further underscores the urgency for Congressional action. Congress has a historic opportunity to break through decades of political impasse and enact long-overdue changes to our country’s immigration system that benefit us all.
