As a kid who grew up in public housing, I know what it's like to be counted out before you even get started. But through hard work and the support of my family and community, I was able to graduate from college and went on to become the senior pastor at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s church. Now, thanks to this grassroots team, I'm proudly serving as the first Black senator in Georgia's history.

But I need your help: We have a razor-thin Senate majority, meaning Republicans need to flip just one seat to retake control for Mitch McConnell. And with NBC News saying the GOP has singled me out as their top target for defeat, our entire progressive agenda – from voting rights to health care – is on the line in this race.
