Good news: The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel wrote an article about our race!
“The primary election for U.S. Senate in Wisconsin is a year away. Meet the candidates who are already off and running.” |
And they noted the hard work Tom has been putting into the campaign:
He has been a steady fundraiser, attracted attention with some off-beat videos and sought support among backers of Bernie Sanders. He has also embarked on a 72-counties-in-72-days tour of Wisconsin, what he calls "The Full Nelson."
It has taken a lot of hard work from our team and Tom as he relentlessly hits all 72 counties to speak to Wisconsinites, especially in places Democrats often don’t go. But it’s how Tom has been able to win six times in a Trump county and how he’s going to beat Ron Johnson.
August is traditionally a hard time to raise money as most folks take a vacation and break from politics. But not Tom and our team.
If you are able to chip in $5 to keep us going on the road, whether it’s helping Tom buy a meal or making sure we have enough pens, it will really help us power through these remaining counties!
John, some folks are counting Tom out just because he can’t self-fund and doesn’t have too many Wall Street friends.
But let me tell you what I know. We’re running a progressive, grassroots-driven, people-powered campaign. A campaign predicated on prioritizing working families and holding corporate interests accountable.
We’re the only campaign touring the entire state, meeting Wisconsinites in their favorite diner, coffee shop, or watering hole. People can continue to doubt our campaign. We're ok being considered an underdog by the powers that be.
This campaign isn’t about them. It’s about delivering Wisconsin real, compassionate leadership that will prioritize working people over Wall Street interests and deliver our state from Ron Johnson.
But, being in this race for the long haul means that we need grassroots support every step of the way. So, John, if you’re able, can you chip in right now to prove that we have grassroots support in our corner in this race to defeat Ron Johnson?

Thank you for your support. Now, back to The Full Nelson Tour this weekend.
See the schedule below for Day 6 of the tour where we are back in Western Wisconsin, including Pepin County where Tom spent the first few years of his life when his dad was a pastor at the Sabylund Lutheran Church in Stockholm.
