This came on the heels of Texas state representatives fleeing the state to block Republican-backed voting restrictions that aim to suppress Texas voters.

Our democracy is under attack. The need to pass federal voting protections that expand the progress we’ve made in Colorado to the entire country becomes even clearer when elected officials have to take action this extreme.
