Yesterday, the Senate finally turned the “Infrastructure Week” talk into action by passing the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

This once-in-a-generation package will create good paying jobs and put Wisconsin to work fixing our roads and bridges, building clean water infrastructure, making high-speed broadband available to everyone in Wisconsin, and creating a renewable energy economy to take on the climate crisis. But we are just getting started.

Early this morning, the budget resolution advanced in the Senate — a major step towards supporting working families, creating clean energy solutions to address the climate crisis, and making the wealthy pay their fair share of taxes to do it.

Your support won us the majorities to make this happen, and now, I’m asking for your help again to keep going.

I’m proud to have voted to pass the critical infrastructure plan, and I know the work we have accomplished so far will build a stronger economy and make a real difference in the lives of Wisconsin working families.

But we still have so much work ahead of us to expand affordable health care, protect our environment against climate change, and more. I am going to work to get the job done for Wisconsin and I can’t thank you enough for your support on that.
