Friend,

Last week, our team reached out with our August issues survey, and I wanted to take a minute to share some feedback we received:

Brooke wrote in about the importance of voting rights, and how crucial it is that folks can make their voices heard. As she put it, the right to vote is the heart of our democracy, and I couldn’t agree more.

Leonard expressed his concerns about gerrymandering in our state. It’s imperative that North Carolina voters choose our leaders — not the other way around.

Rachel shared that she’s worried about environmental destruction in the name of greed. She wrote that we can build our economy without destroying our water and air, and that’s exactly right.

Every day, I’m fighting for folks like Brooke, Leonard, and Rachel. I’m working hard to make sure their concerns are addressed by their government — that we protect the right to vote, end partisan gerrymandering, and preserve our air and water for the next generation.

If you’re ready to keep fighting for progress on issues like these (and more), I hope you’ll consider pitching in a few dollars to support our work:

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and for being part of our team.
