My name is Monica De La Cruz-Hernandez, and I’m in a very unique position to
talk to you about the full-blown crisis at the U.S.-Mexican border. You see,
I’m running for Congress in Texas’ 15th District which runs right up to the
Mexican border near McAllen, Texas. Though it’s common for folks to forget,
there are large communities of Americans living along the 800-mile border
directlyaffected by the Biden-Harris administrations flat out refusal to get
their act together and secure our border.

From January to June more than ONE MILLION illegal immigrants were
apprehended attempting to cross the border into the United States. ONE MILLION.
The mainstream media has been too busy covering the Olympics to tell you that,
though.

And what is the Democrat I’m running against doing to stop the flow of
illegal immigrants from inundating our border on a daily basis? NOTHING.He’s
campaigning to get NPR (National Public Radio) and PBS to set up a permanent
presence in South Texas …. HOW IS HIS PRIORITY NOT THE BORDER??

I want to help fix this crisis with every fiber of my being. Our communities
down here are being overrun while Biden, and my opponent Vincente Gonzalez, are
leaving us out to dry.

If I were a member of Congress I would sleep on the steps of the Capitol
until Biden and Pelosi addressed the border crisis, but elections have
consequences and I lost to my NPR loving opponent by 6,588 votes last year.So,
while I don’t have an official pulpit to draw attention to our plight, I’m
asking for you to sign my petition which I’m hoping will make its way to Mr.
Biden’s desk

I don’t know what’s realistic in terms of who would be willing to sign this
petition for me, but I’d like to start with a 10,000-signature goal. If you’re

My community is suffering due to Democrats refusing to even try to stem the
flow of illegal immigrants crossing into our community EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.
Their inaction is taking a toll on all of us who call South Texas home. Take a

While President Biden and the CDC are encouraging folks around the nation to
once again wear face masks, more thanONE MILLION illegal immigrants – who have
not been vaccinated – have crossed into our country this year alone. Aside from
the obvious national security issues with ONE MILLION illegals crossing into
our country, the lack of action to stop migrants from crossing the border has
absolutely played a role in spreading COVID-19.

We have no federal leadership addressing this crisis, so now being left to
our own devices, all we can hope for is enough signatures to get the attention
of Democrats in Washington.
