Bird collision prevention, American Bird Conservancy
William and Mary’s Institute for Integrative Conservation is conducting an anonymous survey on bird-window collisions. Its goal is to design programs to encourage the public to mitigate bird-window collisions at their homes. The short survey takes about 10-15 minutes to complete. Preventing bird window collisions is an important conservation issue. Bird-window collisions are a significant cause of death for North American birds, along with habitat loss and outdoor cats. It’s a concern not just for high-rise commercial buildings but also for individual homes.
Please take this short survey by August 26. Click this link and help conserve our resident and migrating birds.
