The battle over schools has a new player with a lot of experience:
the Leadership Institute.
If you don't know them, the Leadership Institute is a 42-year-old conservative organization training and supporting people to run for office -- they're one of the most comparable groups on the Right to what we do on the Left.
This year, they're kicking off trainings for school board candidates.
In 2020, the Leadership Institute's budget was roughly $30 million. That's nearly 10x our $3 million budget for 2020, meaning they can spend 10x what we can on recruiting, training, elevating, and supporting far-Right candidates.
We don't need to raise $30 million to beat them, but we do need to do more. If you can, chip in $5, or whatever you can, to scale up our work and elect diverse young progressives to school board.

Trump lackey Michael Flynn has been telling QAnon trolls to run. The Proud Boys have told reporters they are refocusing their efforts on local office instead of the presidency.
