John,
Ghost guns are appearing at more and more crime scenes across the country, and the consequences are already terrifying:
- "Philly man killed after botched 'ghost gun' sale in Ardmore; 3 arrested: DA" —6ABC Action News
- "15 ghost guns, meth and cash were seized by police from a suspect in Orange" —New Santa Ana
- "Santa Rosa police seize third ‘ghost gun’ in two days" —The Press Democrat
- "Homemade guns are showing up more at Connecticut crime scenes, police say. An untraceable ‘ghost gun’ was used in Vernon homicide." —Hartford Courant
Right now, the ATF is accepting public comments about regulating ghost guns. The gun lobby is going ALL OUT to flood the ATF with comments opposing any regulation—and the ATF urgently needs to hear from us. John, take just one minute to submit your comment to the ATF today urging it to regulate ghost guns.

A ghost gun is a do-it-yourself, homemade gun made from easy-to-get building blocks that can be purchased with no questions asked. These building blocks are most often sold in kits that contain all the required pieces to make the gun fully operable in under an hour – and it all happens without a background check.
The fact that these firearms can be purchased without a background check or any federal oversight is exactly why they appeal to people who intend to use them to harm others—including domestic abusers, violent extremists, gun traffickers, and people legally prohibited from buying firearms.
The longer the federal government waits to ensure that ghost guns are subject to federal regulation, the worse this crisis will get. If gone unchecked, ghost guns can undermine every single gun safety law in the country.
It's way past time the ATF regulates ghost guns.
Submit a comment today in support of the ATF's proposed rule to regulate ghost guns and put an end to this crisis.
