Monday’s report by the world’s leading body on climate change underlies the urgent need for immediate, bold climate action by Congress. Your gift today helps us do everything in our power to fight: [[link removed]]

Dear John,

Did you see Monday’s report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) – the world’s leading body for assessing climate change? It was a real wake up call.

According to the IPCC, every single corner of the planet is feeling the effects of climate change. Humans have already heated the planet by 2 degrees Fahrenheit, and we have just a short window to shift away from fossil fuels and prevent the planet from getting hotter.

Across Wisconsin – and the country – conservation voters are taking a stand for just and equitable transition to clean energy, and we need your help.

Can we count on you to be one of 200 conservation voters to chip in an urgent gift by August 15th to help us keep the pressure on decision makers to take immediate, bold climate action? [[link removed]]

With your support, we’re planning media events, townhalls, and virtual actions during the month of August so you can make your voices heard by decision makers as they return home for the congressional recess and prepare to negotiate the Infrastructure and Budget Reconciliation packages this fall.

Our team of organizers and activists has also been working in communities like yours across the state to secure 100 percent clean energy commitments from some of Wisconsin’s largest counties, school boards, and municipalities.

Conservation voters are up for the task at hand – but we can’t keep up our vital work to fight for a clean energy future without you generous support.

Your urgent gift today helps us reach our goal of 200 donors by August 15th and gives us the resources we need to ensure we’re doing everything we can to pass the strongest possible climate policies in Congress: [[link removed]]

Thank you for taking a stand for a cleaner climate,
