Bolstered by community activists and support from Democrats nationwide, Bush staged an unprecedented sit-in on the Capitol steps to demand swift federal action.

Bush persevered, and despite attacks from GOP media pundits who called Bush's sit-in an “embarrassing stunt,” the news finally boke:

Our projections show that Cori Bush is on the GOP electioneering machine's short-list of primary targets in the upcoming midterm elections. Kevin McCarthy and Mitch McConnell know that bold progressive leaders cause trouble for the right wing. McCarthy and McConnell are obsessed with clawing back their majorities in the House and Senate -- they will do whatever they can to unseat Cori Bush.

But Cori Bush isn't going anywhere.
