Dear friend,
The past year and a half has highlighted what we already knew: Immigrants are essential, both to our communities and our economy. During the pandemic, many immigrants worked on the frontlines of our economy, ensuring that we all had food to eat and our loved ones were cared for.
They have done their jobs -- despite significant risk to their health -- and now it’s time for Congress to do ours. We must guarantee a pathway to citizenship for DACA and TPS recipients. Every few years, these immigrants must renew their status -- or face deportation. We cannot continue to call them essential while treating them as deportable.
Will you join me in advocating for bold solutions to our broken immigration system? [[link removed]]

Documentation and a pathway to citizenship would help mitigate the circumstances that put these workers in unsafe conditions and offer protection against the theat of retaliation.
The past sixteen months have made it abundantly clear that it is well past the time to act. Will you stand with me as I bring this critical issue to Congress? [[link removed]]
Together, we can protect our immigrant neighbors and communities.
Let's get to it,
