I hope you’ll join me Tuesday, August 17, for a coordinated Climate Day of Action in Lewiston, Bangor, and Caribou to show Congressman Golden that we need to act now on bold climate solutions.
Congressman Golden will play a crucial role over the next couple of weeks to bring needed infrastructure funding to Maine so that we can advance an affordable clean energy future and make Maine communities more resilient to the impacts of climate change.
Important votes are coming up soon, and we want to make sure Congressman Golden knows that his constituents are concerned about climate change and that we strongly support him voting for investments in clean energy solutions. Join us outside of his office in Lewiston, Bangor, or Caribou next Tuesday, August 17 [[link removed]] at noon to make your voice heard [[link removed]] .

WHERE : Outside Congressman Golden’s offices. The event will take place entirely outside, and we ask that attendees be mindful of social distancing.

WHEN : Tuesday, August 17 from 12 PM – 1 PM
HOW : Join us outside of one of the offices at noon to meet other activists, receive free “Act Now on Climate” t-shirts and stickers, take a group photo, and express your support for investment in climate solutions to the Congressman’s office.
We will provide free t-shirts, signs, and stickers, but feel free to bring your own signs! Please keep the messaging positive as we encourage Congressman Golden to vote for Maine’s future.
