Hey there, John,

My name is Allison Russo, and I’m the Democrat that’s going to flip Ohio’s 15th congressional district blue in this year’s special election.

If you have a minute, I’d like to share a little bit more about my campaign and what’s at stake here in Ohio. I’m also going to ask for your support—because my race is the only opportunity Democrats have to flip a GOP-held seat this year.

When I first ran for the Ohio Statehouse, many said I couldn’t win a seat that Republicans had won by 21% in the previous election. But with grassroots support and tireless campaigning, we defied the odds, and we won.

Now, I’m running for Congress to bring an independent voice to Congress and to fight every day for Ohio’s working families. But John, our fight is just beginning: Last week, Mike Carey, a Trump-backed lobbyist, was named as my opponent. 

This race is our only shot this year to flip a red seat blue, expand our slim Democratic House Majority, and send a clear message about the type of leadership hard-working Ohioans are looking for in Washington.

That’s why I’m asking you, John): Will you step up and make a contribution to fortify this grassroots movement, help us defeat our Trump-backed opponent, and flip OH-15 blue?

John, out-of-touch Washington Republicans and special interests are gearing up to do whatever it takes to win back the House—and as the only opportunity to flip a seat from red to blue this year, all eyes will be on what happens right here in OH-15. 

And Democrats will lose the House—and put far-right extremists like Marjorie Taylor Greene in power—if we don’t fight to expand our majority and compete in purple districts like mine.

And I’ll be blunt: We have an uphill climb ahead, and I cannot win this race without you by my side until the very end. Please, chip in whatever you can right now to help kick off this general election race and show everybody that we’re ready to win in November >>
