Last week, Hezbollah fired 22 rockets toward Israel from Lebanon, causing warning sirens to sound across northern Israel.
Ten of the rockets were intercepted by Israel's lifesaving Iron Dome, eight landed in open areas in Israel, and four fell short of the border in Lebanon.
While there were thankfully no injuries, the attacks sent thousands of Israelis to seek safety in bomb shelters.

Hezbollah is an Iran-backed terrorist organization that cares more about killing Israelis than protecting Lebanese civilians.
During last week’s attacks, a Lebanese citizen caught video evidence of Hezbollah firing rockets from his neighborhood, right next to people’s homes in southern Lebanon.
It’s the latest example of Hezbollah using Lebanese civilians as human shields and follows news last month where the IDF revealed intelligence showing a Hezbollah weapons warehouse just meters from a Lebanese school with 300 children.
The United States must continue to support Israel’s right to self-defense and ensure it has the means necessary to defend itself by itself, including by maintaining our full commitment to security assistance to Israel.
Additionally, the U.S. must continue to push back against Iran and Hezbollah’s efforts to destabilize the region, including by supporting sanctions against those responsible for Hezbollah’s use of civilians as human shields and those providing support for their efforts.
