John,

In survey after survey, DFA members say that reforming our criminal
justice system is a top priority.

That’s why Democracy for America works in cities and states across the
country to support candidates that will advance the fight to reform our
criminal justice system.

Already, we’ve seen the impact of our work to elect progressive District
Attorneys.

Take just one example, in Philadelphia, Larry Krasner took on mass
incarceration, ended criminal prosecution for marijuana possession,
stopped cash bail for low-level misdemeanors, and led an important lawsuit
against a major pharmaceutical company.

can change our system, chip in $35 or more to support DFA’s work, and get

Power on us.

Local, state and federal legislative bodies have the ability to enact
transformational legislation that would drastically improve how our
society administers justice.

From ending cash bail to getting rid of for-profit prisons it is critical
that we put in the hard work that is necessary to make these big changes
happen.

As we continue to build out our new criminal justice campaign for the
coming year and work towards electing strong criminal justice advocates in
2022, we need your help.

progressive leaders who will overhaul our criminal justice system, we’ll
