I’m excited to share this news with you: I joined the Senate in passing a major bipartisan plan that would rebuild our country’s infrastructure with American-made products and materials, and create good jobs that can’t be shipped overseas.

You played a major role in making this happen, because what you do matters. Whether you voted, made contributions, signed petitions, or made phone calls during the election, it helped us build a government that’s delivering real progress for working families. 

What you do makes a difference, and that’s why today I’m asking you to sign on your support for improving our nation’s infrastructure.

This infrastructure plan would invest billions of dollars in rebuilding our roads, bridges, and power grid and expanding access to broadband. And I made sure it included two provisions that I’ve been fighting for in the Senate for years:

1. There are over 46,000 bridges across the country that are deemed “structurally deficient” and over 231,000 that need repairs. This bill would provide funding to help fix the bridges that keep us connected while creating good jobs.


2. The bill includes Buy American provisions to ensure ALL federal infrastructure plans use American-made iron, steel, and products to create more job opportunities for workers that can’t be shipped overseas.
