John — The U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) just released a sixth edition of their climate report and it includes vital information we think you need to know.We’ll be direct: the toplines aren’t good.

Extreme
weather
events
like
heat
waves,
wildfires,
droughts
and
floods
are
a
direct
consequence
of
climate
change
and
are
getting
worse.
*
Sea
level
rise
is
quickly
speeding
up.
Globally,
sea
levels
rose
about
8
inches
on
average
between
1901
and
2018.
*
While
it’s
still
possible
to
meet
the
goals
set
by
the
Paris
Climate
Accords,
it
gets
harder
each
passing
day
and
would
require
a
wide
scale
reductions
in
carbon
emissions.
