I just wanted to let you know that tomorrow is your last day to submit questions for our Virtual Town Hall with Senator Jeff Merkley! Click here to submit your questions and RSVP for the event. 

All of us here at Team OLCV are really looking forward to hearing from Senator Merkley this Monday. As a climate champ with an LCV Lifetime Score of 99%, Senator Merkley will update us on how the push for national climate action is going over in Washington D.C. 

Exciting things are happening: just today, the U.S. Senate brought us closer to investing in clean energy, justice, and jobs by passing the bipartisan infrastructure proposal, and now they’re getting ready to vote on the next step--the $3.5 trillion budget resolution we need to transition to a clean energy future.

Sen. Merkley will fill us in on how the budget resolution vote goes, and what’s next, including the ongoing process of making sure these proposals prioritize the communities most affected by climate change, and create good-paying, union jobs in clean energy.

Submit any questions you have about building back better, transitioning off fossil fuels, or any other questions about clean energy, climate action, and environmental justice. We’ll be accepting questions for Senator Merkley until the end of the day tomorrow!
