With a second, bigger recall effort ramping up for the fall, it’s absolutely critical that we send a powerful message for this first deadline: our movement can’t be stopped, and unchecked police power can’t be bought! 

Chesa is spearheading real justice, pushing for policies that divert funding from prisons and jails to help victims of assault and provide mental health services to those in need. He’s the first San Francisco District Attorney to prosecute a police officer for murder and has increased police accountability to protect ALL San Franciscans. 

If we don’t demonstrate massive support for Chesa against this first recall, it will send a message to right-wing billionaires and police groups across the country that they can buy unchecked power and election results. We can’t let that happen.
