John,
Today, the U.S. Senate passed a bold infrastructure plan — groundbreaking legislation that will help rebuild our infrastructure from the ground-up, address climate change, and create good-paying union jobs at the same time.
This is a big deal. It's the largest federal investment into infrastructure projects in more than a decade.
We’re finally putting our country on a path toward updating our crumbling, outdated infrastructure — making crucial investments in repairing and updating roads and bridges, and expanding broadband and protecting our planet.
I know that it is possible to get things done. That’s just one of the reasons I’m running to be Pennsylvania’s next U.S. Senator.
From the operating room and working to pass the Affordable Care Act, to today as Chair of the Commonwealth’s third-largest county, I’ve proven I can do the job by cutting through the BS and remaining determined to get results for Pennsylvania. But first, we have to win this campaign, which will take every single one of you helping us.
This race is getting more competitive by the day, so we need to keep building grassroots support to help me bring my experience and determination to Washington. That’s why I’m asking you, John:
Will you chip in any amount you can so I can help deliver lasting results in the U.S. Senate?

We have a lot of work to do, but know this: I never let BS get in in the way of solving problems — not in the operating room or while leading PA’s third-largest county. And as your next U.S. Senator, you can trust I won’t either.
With determination,
Val
