What Is Iran Hiding?
Last month we reported that Iran was refusing to comply with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). At issue were traces of uranium discovered at a site that Israel had previously exposed as "Iran's secret nuclear archive." The Iranian regime insisted the site was a carpet factory but refused to explain the uranium detected by international inspectors.
At the same time, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Israeli intelligence had uncovered yet another secret Iranian nuclear facility near Abadeh.
Tehran is doing everything it can to hide its nuclear weapons program, even as the ayatollah claims he isn't developing nuclear weapons.
Taking On Turkey
Christians United for Israel (CUFI) announced its support for tough sanctions against Turkey after President Erdogan ordered military strikes against Kurdish forces in northern Syria.
In a statement this week, CUFI founder and Chairman Pastor John Hagee declared:
"We cannot sit idly by as a radical Islamist strongman, who backs terrorists like Hamas, engages in the slaughter of our stalwart allies the Kurds. Nor can we be silent as this totalitarian threatens Middle Eastern Christians. . . In the long-term, an emboldened Turkey will have direct negative consequences for Israel. . .
"Congress and the Administration should sanction Turkey without delay. In addition, plans for the Turkish President to visit the White House next month should be cancelled immediately."
CUFI Action Fund Chairwoman Sandra Parker added, "Turkey is not an ally, they are an adversary. . . We must use every tool in our diplomatic and economic arsenal to put a halt to the slaughter and stop Turkey's advance."
