John,

Americans across the country are living paycheck to paycheck. In one of the richest nations in the world, we should be investing in the American people and tackling poverty head-on.

I am joining Reps. Ilhan Omar, Cori Bush, Pramila Jayapal, and Jamaal Bowman in introducing the SUPPORT Act: a bill that will create a guaranteed income program that will send $1,200 a month directly to most Americans starting in 2028.

Universal basic income in America isn't unprecedented or futuristic. It's overdue, and I need your help in showing that the American people support federal government investment in our communities. Add your name now to become a citizen co-sponsor of The SUPPORT Act to create a guaranteed income.

President Joe Biden's relief checks and expanded child tax credit prove the federal government has the ability to make sure everyone has their basic needs like food, housing, and health care met. Launching a universal basic income is the next step toward building our nation back better and boldly addressing poverty in America.

John, I'm not here to argue that a universal basic income works because it's already been proven successful in Kenya, India, Finland, and more. What I need to know is you're with me in reimagining the way our government supports working people and revitalizes our communities.

If you agree it's past time for a universal basic income, add your name now to become a citizen co-sponsor of The SUPPORT Act now.
