Gov. Ron DeSantis is a threat to our students' safety. For years, DeSantis has done all that he can to block sensible gun reform that could prevent school shootings like the one that terrorized the Parkland community. Now, DeSantis is putting students at risk by refusing to lift a finger to stop the spread of COVID-19.

DeSantis ignored the advice of public health experts, and now 1 in 5 of all COVID-19 infections are in Florida – right as students are going back to school. Even worse, DeSantis is BLOCKING schools from requiring students to wear masks, and he's even threatening to pull funding from schools that enforce masking.

The fact is: DeSantis is a DANGER to our communities. He's catering to his rich donors – like the NRA and GOP millionaires who believe in COVID-19 conspiracy theories – at the expense of ALL of us.
