John – 2021 is on track to be the deadliest year for gun violence in recent history.

But despite this epidemic continuing to worsen, it is easier than ever for dangerous individuals like white supremacists and domestic abusers to get their hands on firearms. Because they can assemble deadly weapons right at home. No questions asked.

"Ghost guns" are real guns that circumvent gun laws and threaten real lives. And they are nearly impossible for law enforcement to trace — No serial numbers. No regulations. No background checks. That’s why ghost guns are a growing murder weapon of choice among people who are legally prohibited from buying guns.

But right now, we finally have the chance to close the so-called "ghost gun loophole" that allows these homemade firearms to evade existing gun laws. President Biden has called on the ATF to instate a rule that will stop the proliferation of ghost guns. But, John, the NRA and the gun lobby are doing everything they can to stop this lifesaving rule from becoming the law of the land. If we don’t regulate these real guns, then real lives lives hang in the balance, and we don’t have much more time to act:

The ATF is only collecting comments on this rule for two more weeks and the NRA has already submitted thousands of comments opposing the rule. Please, John, will you send a comment to the ATF right now and urge them to regulate ghost guns?

The NRA will stop at nothing to spread their “guns everywhere” agenda, and we are counting on every gun violence prevention activist to fight back with us. Otherwise – dangerous individuals will continue to manipulate the ghost gun loophole and get real guns and steal real lives. This is urgent:
