Submit your intentions for 3 Holy
Masses in Honor of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, August
13, 14 and on the Solemnity, August 15.
Dear Friend,
The Glorious Solemnity of the
Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Sunday, August 15th,
will soon be upon us. The Catholic dogma on the Assumption was
proclaimed by the Venerable Servant of God, Pope Pius XII in 1950.
Faithful Catholics in the parts of the US, Mexico, South and Central
America, Europe and the Middle East are already preparing for the
feast with Holy Masses, prayers and pilgrimages. Soon churches,
cathedrals, basilicas and shrines will be filled with flowers as well
as herbs, fruits and vegetables to be blessed, because in some
countries, it is referred to as the Feast of Our Lady of the
Herbs.
The Blessed Virgin Mary is a
powerful intercessor who never sleeps. She has the everlasting love of
a Mother, always willing to give us many graces, if only we would ask
her to bring our needs before her Son, Jesus Christ.
There’s fear, violence and pure
evil running rampant across our world - not to mention the droughts,
wild fires, tropical storms and severe heat. Our Lady of the
Assumption is the perfect mediator to plead mercy for our world, to
her Son.
What personal intentions will you
ask Our Lady to plead for you?
Let us also invoke the Blessed
Mother to send us more Marian priests, who will Consecrate themselves
to the Mother of Mercy and the Queen of Heaven.
All you have to do is submit your intentions and you will automatically receive three
days of a meditation and prayers, beginning on Friday, August
13th.
The Blessed Virgin Mary can powerfully intercede for us, as she is
the first of all the saints, a source of so many graces for each of
us, and for the Church and the world, in these trying times.
Your friend in Jesus and
Mary,
Thomas McKenna
