Hello from Atlanta, Georgia!
My name is Robin, and I appreciate this opportunity to share with you why I support Marianne.
After hearing Marianne speak in LA in the 90s, when I was 21, I heeded her call to service and pursued a master's in Marriage and Family Therapy. Years later, thanks to Marianne, I realized my personal mission and life's work was to advocate for the elderly. So, I began working in an assisted living facility.
I was struck by how many seniors had Alzheimer's or some form of dementia. It was clear to me we weren't doing a good job—neither in assisted living nor as a nation—supporting persons and their families caring for loved ones.
I have stayed on the sidelines of politics my whole life, until the day I saw Marianne was running for president. For the first time, I feel passion and hope for what is possible inside and outside of America and I want to be involved!
I’m thrilled that Marianne, as a leader, looks beneath the symptoms of our times. To address the root causes, we need a new perspective and a creative and relational approach.
That's why I support Marianne and believe she’s the first candidate to be able to drive a much needed and critical paradigm change.
