Take a moment to say "thanks" to Planned Parenthood staff and volunteers.
Every time I visit a Planned Parenthood health center, I walk away feeling so inspired and impressed by the staff and volunteers.

For all the noise out in the world, all the politics and ideology and court cases and everything else that threatens to interfere with health care — inside every health center, the only thing that matters is the patient. That level of commitment, that unquestioning compassion, matters so much.

This week, we're celebrating Planned Parenthood's 103rd anniversary, and we're sending a message of thanks to health center staff and volunteers. The cut off is midnight tonight — click here to add your name and let health center staff and volunteers know just how much you appreciate all they do for their patients.

Thanks,
Alexis
Planned Parenthood
The best people I know are driven by compassion. They are big-hearted, kind, and spend their days caring for others without judgment. They do hard, important work because they believe that it matters.

And they are criticized for it, endlessly. They face relentless attacks from powerful people who want nothing more than to stop them from doing their jobs. Yet they still show up, every day, for the patients who are counting on them.

The staff at Planned Parenthood health centers — nurses, doctors, greeters, and more — are truly amazing people, and I think they deserve to hear that. Today marks Planned Parenthood's 103rd anniversary, and we hope you'll celebrate with us. Will you take a moment to sign on to our "thank you" letter to Planned Parenthood staff and volunteers today?

In our 103-year history, one thing has never changed: The dedication of staff who work every day to serve patients. And that commitment matters so much to the people who rely on Planned Parenthood. They know that no matter what happens or where they are in their lives, there is a place they can turn, filled with people who will put their needs first.

No politics, no judgment, no stigma. Just a patient who needs care, and an incredible group of people who will make sure they get it.

If you or someone you love has ever gotten that kind of care and compassion, please join me in thanking Planned Parenthood health center staff and volunteers for their tireless commitment to their patients, no matter what.

I'm proud to work side by side with these folks, and so grateful for their extraordinary commitment to delivering the kind of quality care their patients deserve. I hope you'll take a moment to say "thank you" to the doctors, staff, volunteers and others who care for patients at Planned Parenthood health centers every day.
Sincerely,
Alexis McGill Johnson, Acting President & CEO

P.S. It takes amazing people to keep health center doors open and continue to defend reproductive health and rights. Will you celebrate 103 years of care, education, and activism at Planned Parenthood by making a gift today?
