Our team emails you often about why it's so urgent for Congress to pass
the Women's Health Protection Act — our single best chance to defend the
rights promised to us by Roe v. Wade.

But today, we're doing something a little different. We're sharing stories
submitted directly by Women's Marchers across the country about the
reasons why they're deeply dedicated to fighting for abortion access and
reproductive health.

Here are just some of the hundreds of personal submissions we received
about why we must fight tirelessly to get the Women's Health Protection

"I remember the '60s, when a lot of women died from "back alley"
abortions."

"I was part of the Feminist revolution 50 years ago. We fought for the
right to reproductive choice… I am furious that this right is once again
being threatened. I have a daughter and a granddaughter who deserve to
make such an important decision for themselves."

"Because no one should be able to tell us what we can and cannot do with
our bodies."

"Women need access to health care. Abortion is health care."

"Because the right to choose saved my life."
