First, Republican County Commissioners named Rose the sole finalist for Mesa County Attorney.

Then, after accusations of cronyism and public outcry, she withdrew her name.

Now, she’s formed a nonprofit called “Rose for Colorado,” and the domain “roseforcolorado.com” was purchased earlier in the year.

This much is clear: she’s running for something. And all signs point to the Colorado Secretary of State seat.

There’s no doubt that as soon as she announces, she’ll have the support of the far-right, who have spread lies about the 2020 election, ready to bankroll her campaign. As Secretary of State, Jena has worked to increase access to the polls, improve transparency in government, and make Colorado a leader when it comes to how elections should be conducted.
