I'm not going to beat around the bush on this one, we missed our July fundraising requirement badly.
Today, we reported to the state the lowest fundraising total for a month in the last three years. As fired up as we are to flip Florida blue, we simply are not raising the funds we will need to do that.
As a reminder, this seat was what kept Democrats out of a super-minority status; it's the only reason we even have a voice in our state. With it, we are fighting against our Governor's attacks on our local schools, pushing for COVID-19 economic relief, and defending your right to vote and participate in our democracy.
