BIG NEWS! Senate Democrats are planning a big vote on voting rights within days to override extreme Republican state laws.

To build pressure, the PCCC and Common Defense are elevating veterans who make clear, "We put our lives on the line to defend American democracy -- not the filibuster.”

Watch the powerful new TV ad here -- and please chip in to air it this week in Washington DC and West Virginia -- home of Sen. Joe Manchin. Every donation today helps ensure senators see this ad over and over.

Common Defense is a grassroots organization with a large veterans membership base -- including thousands of veterans with disabilities. Veterans are a group that many senators listen to -- including Senators Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema.

As part of a big campaign to apply pressure in the end game of this democracy fight, Common Defense and the PCCC recruited thousands of stories from veterans.

We're doing TV ads, a social media blitz, and press events featuring disabled vets. They are making clear that state laws restricting mail-in voting and early voting directly inhibit voting access for disabled veterans who cannot wait hours in a line on Election Day.

The For the People Act would ensure our democracy is accessible for all, but the filibuster has thus far prevented any significant steps from being taken.

These vets fought for democracy, not the filibuster. We are elevating veteran voices in a dozen key states with senators pivotal in this fight -- such as West Virginia, Arizona, Montana, New Hampshire, and Maine.

Please help us launch this campaign in a way every senator, including Joe Manchin sees. Chip in here to air the powerful new TV ad in Washington DC and West Virginia this week, as the Senate prepares to vote.

Thanks for being a bold progressive.
