Friend, Tomorrow we’re releasing our latest Renew America ad, but as an early supporter of the movement, I wanted to make sure you got a chance to watch it today. As Renewers, we know that we have to stand up for those fundamental rights and values which make America possible, and that’s exactly what our new ad does. In a democratic republic like ours, nothing is more important than the right to vote. But across the country, extremist Republicans are taking aim at that right. They can’t stand that they lost the 2020 Presidential election. So instead they lie, and claim they won. Then they tried to overthrow the election all together. Now, they want to rewrite the rules entirely, to make sure they win in the future.
We all know kids who act like that, who scream and cry and rewrite the rules whenever they lose. But this isn’t a game. This is our sacred right to vote, and the survival of our Republic depends on people being able to freely exercise that right. That’s the message we need your help sending today.
