Imani is a seasoned political organizer and social justice activist who has worked for immigrant rights and racial justice all her life. She was a founding member of Movement School, where she served as the first ever Dean of Movement Building mentoring a new generation of organizers.

Imani’s experience on the Hill working as a constituent advocate for Sen. Cory Booker, and her time in various leadership roles within the New Jersey Democratic Party, opened her eyes to the barriers regular people face trying to get real representation in D.C.
