It's happening all over the country: a groundswell of grassroots activity from parents, teachers, and other concerned citizens speaking out against the radical "woke" ideology infiltrating America's schools.
In Loudoun County, Virginia, parents packed out a school board meeting outraged over the school's proposed transgender policy and the inclusion of racially divisive critical race theory in their children's curriculum.
One parent compared CRT to her experience growing up in Maoist China. "I have been very alarmed about what's going on in our schools. You are now teaching, training our children to be social justice warriors and to loathe our country and our history," said Xi Van Fleet. "The communist regime used the same critical theory to divide people. The only difference is they used class instead of race."
The Left understands that if they can indoctrinate the next generation into their ideology and worldview, they can cement the transformation of America. With 90 percent of school-aged children attending public schools, our students are a captive audience.
We must push back against the Left's multi-pronged strategy to capture our children's hearts and minds!

This battle for our schools begins with exposing the radicalism of the U.S. Department of Education under the Biden administration, which is driving a wedge between parents and school administrators with a "Notice of Interpretation" regarding Title IX.
If schools abide by this "guidance" from Washington, female students will have to share bathrooms, locker rooms, and showers with biological males who identify as female, and female student-athletes will have to compete against males who identify as female. Additionally, administrators can feel free to keep duplicate records for transgender identifying students -- one set for the "affirming" school officials and another for the eyes of the parents!
Meg Kilgannon is FRC's Senior Fellow for Education Studies. She recently testified before the Department of Education about the harms transgender ideologies pose to children's health and parents' rights. Here's an excerpt:
"Title IX is based on sex and sex alone. It distinguishes between men and women based on biological sex. Any other interpretation of "on the basis of sex" harms women and girls, parents, and families... to insert oneself between the custodial parent and his or her child for any reason, is unnatural and unacceptable."
The president's attempt to rewrite Title IX is a profound and radical makeover that uses the threat of lost funding -- your taxpayer dollars -- to intimidate schools.
This radical social agenda is paving the way for a cultural revolution, and our children are being used as pawns. We must engage and take back our schools!
Concerned parents, grandparents, taxpayers, and teachers need to seize this moment and continue to speak out. Protecting our children is about holding school boards accountable and placing the power back into the hands of parents not bureaucrats.
