Lt. Gov. Brent Sanford, lawmakers, Team ND members and early childhood service providers and advocates gathered at North Dakota’s Capitol in Bismarck to raise awareness about why early childhood matters and to announce the launch of the North Dakota Department of Human Services’ Early Childhood Division. Speakers also announced several new developments supporting quality early childhood experiences for children ages zero to 5.
Gov. Doug Burgum along with 23 other state leaders took part in the inaugural NDSU Extension 4-H Public Leader Showmanship event at the ND State Fair. The governor partnered with Anna Petersen from Bowbells, N.D., to show her yearling heifer named Grace.
This year’s Main Street ND Summit will be held Oct. 12 beginning at 8 a.m. at the Rustad Recreation Center in West Fargo. Both in-person and virtual options are available to those wishing to attend.
