John,

Last week activists all over the country including the Vote From Home team joined the #RecessCanWait rallies.

Today we heard that Speaker Pelosi is considering bringing the House back early to pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Act. Let's be clear, this happened because legislators and activists from all over the country made voting rights a demand.

We have not crossed the finish line yet. We still need this bill to pass the House and the bigger challange is still in the Senate. John, can you chip in $25 to help us cross the finish line?

Advocates from across the country are speaking out in support of national voting rights reforms and Democratic leaders in Washington are listening. The next step is to push the Senate to end recess early to pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Act.

We will still need to be ready to talk to voters and fight disinformation, can you help our team?

Thank you,
Vote From Home

Hi John,

Our team just got back from the #RecessCanWait rally on Capitol Hill. I want to share what we heard.

We heard from legislators from all over the country about how they have been on the front lines working to stop far-right GOP legislators. Michigan lawmakers spoke about voting to confirm President Biden’s victory while being threatened by heavily armed militias.

Black legislators shared their experience of being the targets of racist voter suppression laws. The wave of laws being passed is directly targeted at keeping people from their communities from voting.

John, we need to recommit our efforts to pass the For the People Act. Can we count on your support to help us pass this bill?

We heard from Revered Senator Warnock about the need to protect voting rights, not only because it is the right thing to do, but also because it will prevent Republicans from essentially stealing elections.

Senator Cory Booker talked about how the challenges we are facing in America are eerily similar to what's happening in countries like Hungary or Turkey -- places where democracy is collapsing, and racist far-right authoritarians are dismantling the rule of law.

John, we are calling on the Senate to cancel their one-month paid vacation time and get to work to pass a bill to protect voting rights. Can we count on your support?

Thank You,
Vote From Home

Vote From Home is a grassroots movement that's fighting to expand vote by mail. We helped thousands of Democrats vote safely from home in Pennsylvania, Michigan, North Carolina and Georgia in 2020 and 2021. Now we're focused on stopping politicians and legislation who are making it harder for Americans to vote by mail.
