Three pro-science women who will flip the Senate.? ? ? ? ? ? We really need your help, friend.

While the entire country is reeling from an unprecedented global health crisis, a Mitch McConnell-aligned Super PAC is quietly booking over $67 million in TV ads in support of anti-science candidates in battleground Senate races across the country. Time after time, Mitch McConnell and his allies in the Senate have put special interests ahead of our communities and the environment.

We have to work quickly to counter the McConnell special interests and their dangerous agenda. Now more than ever, we need to hold our leaders accountable for their lack of action and elect candidates across the country who believe in science.

While our frontline workers are working overtime and unemployment numbers surge, McConnell and his anti-environment allies in the Senate have left governors and other state officials scrambling to get critical resources to our hospitals. On top of that, McConnell has failed to check the Trump administration's continued environmental assaults during the pandemic, as the EPA gutted clean car standards that are crucial to the fight against climate change and has effectively stopped enforcing all EPA environmental regulations.

We cannot trust a McConnell-led Senate to navigate us through future public health emergencies. It's time for new leadership.

The map to flip the Senate to a pro-environment majority was always going to be challenging, especially with groups pouring millions of dollars to support McConnell and his anti-science allies in the Senate. But several outstanding first-time candidates are leading the path to winning a pro-science majority and restore federal trust in science and truth. We need the environmental movement ? and everyone who believes in the value of science ? to support Sara Gideon in Maine, Barbara Bollier in Kansas, and Theresa Greenfield in Iowa. [link removed]

Sara Gideon is running on a science-backed and pro-environment agenda to defeat Susan Collins and bring key equitable environmental wins to all Mainers. Sara spent her career as Speaker of the Maine House of Representatives passing aggressive clean energy standards to boost renewable energy and fighting to strengthen water quality protection for Maine's Indigenous communities. With the race for Maine Senate's seat now classified by Cook as a "toss up," Sara needs the environmental movement to invest in her campaign today. [link removed]

The Senate's response to the current public health crisis makes it clear why we need doctors representing our communities. Dr. Barbara Bollier understands just how important science-backed legislation is to the health of families in Kansas and all across the nation. Bollier has campaigned on addressing water shortages due to droughts and investing in green energy opportunities to harness Kansas's wind energy potential. If elected, Barbara would be the first woman physician elected to the Senate ? will you contribute directly to Barbara's campaign through GiveGreen today? [link removed]

Theresa Greenfield is running to unseat climate denier Joni Ernst in the Senate. A win in this Senate race would mean one less vote in support of Mitch McConnell's polluter-backed agenda. Greenfield grew up and worked on her family farm near the Iowa-Minnesota border, so she understands firsthand how devastating climate change is to farmers in the state. A huge victory here could bring Iowans to the table and lead to real investments in technology to help farmers combat the devastating impacts of climate change. Will you chip in today? We hope you are staying healthy and safe during these unprecedented times, friend. Thank you for your continued support for these environmental champions.

Sincerely,
