A Healthy Meal for Every Child Every Day: The Coalition for Healthy
School Food joins the global _School Meals Coalition_
Building momentum for #NourishKidsNow [4], read more [5] about the new
global initiative we are so excited to join: the _School Meals Coalition_.
We are happy to welcome the City of Toronto, ON and Courtenay, BC as new
Coalition Endorsers [6] and we are calling [7] on all Cities to support
school food, and continuing our series of webinars on school food programs
[8].

School Meal Coalition
We are pleased to join with 37 Countries and 38 partners in a new global
initiative, the _School Meals Coalition_ [9], committed to A HEALTHY MEAL
FOR EVERY CHILD EVERY DAY. Check out the global Coalition’s concept note
[10], social media kit [11] and introduction video [12].
We are also calling on the Canadian government, our members and endorsers
and all organizations advocating for school food programs in Canada to join
this visionary global movement.

School Food Matters: Youth Focus Group on School Food
We are looking for student participants aged 12 - 18 living in BC, NB and
NS to join our School Food Matters Youth Focus Group on School Food
Programs this August. The focus groups will take place on Zoom on August 11
from 10 am - noon ADT (NS), on August 12 from 10 am - noon PDT (BC) and on
August 26 from 10 am - noon ADT (NB). Prospective participants are invited
to check the registration link to see if registration is still open as
limited seats are available for the focus groups.

L'alimentation scolaire compte : Groupe de discussion des jeunes sur
les programmes alimentaires scolaires
Nous sommes à la recherche d'étudiants âgés de 12 à 18 ans vivant en
C.-B., au N.-B. et en N.-É. pour participer à notre groupe de discussion
sur les programmes d'alimentation scolaire en août. Les groupes de
discussion auront lieu sur Zoom le 11 août de 10 h à 12 h HAA (N.-É.),
le 12 août de 10 h à 12 h HAP (C.-B.) et le 26 août de 10 h à 12 h HAA
(N.-B.). Les éventuels participants potentiels sont invités à vérifier
le lien d'inscription pour voir si l'inscription est encore ouverte, car
