I want to talk to you about my good friend Carolyn Bourdeaux. She represents Georgia’s 7th district in Congress, but she’s one of the GOP’s top targets for the midterm elections.
She’s the first Democrat to represent her district in 25 years, and her last election was tight. She won by less than three points, and that was in a favorable year for Democrats. It will be tougher in the midterm year.
Republicans are going to pour money into the race, but they also desperately want to redraw the lines to make it even harder for a Democrat to win in the future. This could be our last chance to save the seat.
