Human centric organizations and systems require that those in formal leadership roles dismantle traditional power structures, stop leading by domination and exploitation, flatten the pyramid, and engage with every individual as indispensable to the collective success of the enterprise. We can think about this as developing leadership from every chair – and we need to cultivate the thinking, doing, and being to actualize it.
In this webinar, we’ll explore how employers and leaders might need to upgrade both their inner and outer operating systems to foster the conditions where people’s imagination and inherent creative capacities can thrive – and have maximum impact. Essential to this inquiry is re-thinking our core assumptions about leadership; de-emphasizing power and status as the source of decision-making and direction; and consciously developing ourselves in ways that expand our capacity to build organizations that better the lives of all the people in them – and those they serve. Some examples will be provided.
We’ll also look at how we can transform traditional management practices, like delegation, into what’s really needed for whole system flourishing – powerful partnerships.
