A few days ago, House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy said it would be “hard not to hit” Speaker Nancy Pelosi with the speaker’s gavel if he takes over. This, of course, comes after years of McCarthy’s obstructionist political games and his horrifying response to the January 6th insurrection.
It’s clearer than ever that the Republican party has allowed violent extremists to gain a dangerous amount of power, and they cannot be trusted with the Majority in Congress.
