“There is a consensus that Republicans could use the redistricting process to draw maps that will allow them to retake the House of Representatives in 2022.”

"If left unchecked, gerrymanders like the ones here may irreparably damage our system of government...They [encourage] a politics of polarization and dysfunction. They [promote] partisanship above respect for the popular will." --Justice Kagan

John -- Justice Kagan said the last round of gerrymanders promoted “partisanship above respect for the popular will.”

Some experts think that this year’s redistricting cycle may be even worse. Harvard Law Professor Nicholas Stephanopoulos said: “I’m very worried that we’ll have several states, important states, with among the worst gerrymanders in American history.”

All On The Line is working to expand and protect the right to vote as partisan politicians attempt to subvert the will of the people. Will you make a donation to support our plans to protect our democracy?

This year’s redistricting cycle arrives at a time when American democracy is already in peril.

Earlier this year, lawmakers in gerrymandered states tried to overturn a free and fair election. After that plot failed, they introduced hundreds of anti-voting bills and now, at least 18 states have already enacted 30 laws that restrict access to the vote. These are some of the same lawmakers who will be drawing electoral maps in just a few weeks.

HEADLINE: The gerrymandering clock is ticking. || "There is a consensus that Republicans could use the redistricting process to draw maps that will allow them to retake the House of Representatives in 2022." Help us fight for fair redistricting.

But one of the biggest differences between the last map-drawing process and this one is that All On The Line didn’t exist during the last redistricting cycle. This time, we’re ready and prepared to fight for fair maps -- but we need your help.

Will you make a donation of any amount right now to help us ensure this year’s maps aren’t the “worst gerrymanders in American history?”
