Help us ship more medicines and medical supplies to the world’s most marginalized communities.
Dear Friend,
When Hurricane Dorian slammed into the Bahamas last month, it left Abaco and Grand Bahama Island in ruins. Entire towns were flattened, and the communities that lived there were left stranded — many families were injured and left with nothing.
We were on the ground the day after the stormed passed to assess the needs and make sure that essential medical supplies reached local hospitals and clinics.
|
Now, weeks later, our team is still in the Bahamas providing lifesaving medications, health screenings for children so they can return to school, and medical care — because the need does not end when the storm clears. Project HOPE is not only meeting immediate needs, but we’re also working to restore the health care infrastructure in the affected areas.
