I also located my hillbilly intrusion alarms in the storage unit and got them on the doors. When my oldest daughter was
little, she was a chronic sleepwalker. So I put a windchime on her door so that I'd hear it if she opened it and left her room at night.
Later when I became a single mom, I continued the practice by always hanging bells or windchines on my doors. I love the fact that my daughters have continued this tradition.
It's not super noisy, but if someone tries to come in that door, we're gonna hear them.
