Friends, As many of you may know, the first Tuesday in August is National Neighborhood Night Out, or “Nite 2 Unite.” I hope that you all enjoyed getting to know your neighbors better this past Tuesday evening. And I hope that you had a chance to get to know your local peace officers too! Across Minnesota, our law enforcement professionals took time to stop at all their local neighborhood events and meet those they protect and serve every day. I am so thankful to each of the officers across our state for building these positive relationships with everyone in their communities - especially the youngest members! Below are just a few features of officers and residents from Tuesday night. I encourage you to support your own local departments as well! And if you missed the festivities Tuesday night, mark your calendars for the first Tuesday night in August of 2022! Centennial Lakes Police Department (serving the cities of Circle Pines, Lexington, and Centerville) officers giving kids tours or their squad cars. West St. Paul Police Officers partnered with the National Latino Police Officer’s Association (NLPOA) and attended several block parties throughout the city. In gratitude, P.S. We want to hear from you! If you have an officer to highlight or a story to #ThankACop, please do not hesitate to share it with us at [email protected]. ‌ ‌ Emmer for Congress | Visit our website Not produced at government expense.
